Phillip Earl Bush, 57, of Belvidere went to be with his Lord and Savior June 5, 2021. Born July 22, 1963 in Dallas, TX; son of Kenneth and Margaret (Turner) Bush. Graduate of Newman Smith High School in Carrollton, TX. United in marriage to Amanda Jo Turner on April 9, 2005 in Galveston, TX. Phillip obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from University of North Texas; graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service; and attended UTMB School of Medicine. He published numerous papers in the fields of anesthesia and cardiothoracic surgery. For the last five years, the delight of his eyes was his daughter, Beatrice. He had no greater joy than reading, singing, riding bikes and tickling her. Member of Grace Reformed Baptist Church, where he played the organ and piano. Phillip really loved God's people and served with great care and tenderness at church. He enjoyed modern fine art and listening to sacred chorale and classical music.

Survived by wife, Dr. Amanda Bush, and their daughter Beatrice RoxieJo, both of Dallas, TX; mother, Margaret Bush of Carrollton, TX; brother, Michael (Cara) Bush of Sacramento, CA; father and mother-in-law, John and Roxie Turner of Glen Rose, TX; sisters-in-law, Ginger (David) Georges of Glen Rose, TX, Bekah (Shawn) Garver of Glen Rose Texas; brothers-in-law, John Osborn (Amy) Turner of Cleburne, TX, Thomas (Sarah) Turner of Woodbury, MN; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dog, Marshall.

Preceded in death by his father.

Visitation Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Grace Funeral & Cremation Services, 4301 N. Main St. Rockford. Funeral service was held Friday, June 11, 2021 at Grace Reformed Baptist Church, 6310 Guilford Rd. Rockford, Dr. John Turner, father-in-law will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Phillip's memory may be made to Beatrice's college fund, PO Box 368; Glen Rose, TX, 76043.
