World War II Veteran. His unit landed at Normandy on the 6th of June 44. They received very heavy casualties. So much so that he very rarely reflected on the war at all. After his return from Europe he served as a Honor Guard at the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier at Arlington. He was a life long member of the VFW in Maryland. He worked maintenance for schools near Baltimore. Something he really enjoyed about life.
He was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather,Uncle, and all round good guy. A true gentleman. Rest at Ease, Soldier. You will be missed very much.
