Mrs. Amelia Von Trees, an aged and highly esteemed resident of the county, died suddenly about 6:00 o'clock Sunday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.E. Crowner, in the Fifth ward. She had been in her usual health until late Sunday afternoon, when she was taken with a severe vomiting spell which could not be checked and her death resulted in about an hour.
The funeral services were held from the home at 9:00 o'clock Tuesday morning. The remains taken to the Boone cemetery near Luther for burial. The relatives have the sincere sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
