Louis A. Thomas, 77, a resident of National City for 26 years, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Surviving are: his wife, Adeline B. Thomas, 839 East Seventh street, a daughter, Mrs. Marian Bourassa, of Seattle, Wash.; a son, Louis B. Thomas, of Washington D.C.; and four grandchildren.
He was a member and past chancellor of Loma Temple Knights of Pythias, and a member of Kiwanis, the Masonic Lodge and the First Congregational Church of National City.
Thomas also served as National City Postmaster approximately 20 years ago.
He was born in Lake City, Color., and had been an elementary school teacher and principal. Services are pending at Berge-Roberts Mortuary.
