Surrounded by her loving family, Cecilia Rose Young passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, December 23rd, 2013. Born 1928, in Marches Point, NL, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Angelina (Jesso) Campbell. Cecilia was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo, knitting, reading and she loved her Newfoundland music. Cecilia will be sadly missed by her sons Hyacinthe (Brenda Smith) of Head of Millstream, Thomas (Roxanne) of Saint John, Nathan (Krista Gould) of Saint John; daughters Lorraine (Bob Powers) of Saint John, Eileen Neil of Saint John; brother Wilfred Campbell of Stephenville, NL; sisters Marguerite Suggs of Stephenville, NL, Ethel Laffette of Fox Island River, NL; grandchildren Tammy, Cheryl, Wilfred, Michael, Laura, Wanda, Meaghan, Jessica, Rebecca; great-grandchildren Rachel and Kendra Roy; as well as nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, Cecilia was predeceased by her husband Maurice, sons Higgy and Leon, son-in-law Gerry Neil and several brothers and sisters.
