Hallie Nutt, 98, of Mabelvale, passed away on June 13, 2021.

He was born on June 5, 1923 in Thornton, Arkansas.

Hallie worked for the US Army Corps of Engineers where he retired in 1986 as the Chief of Administrative. He was a member of Geyer Springs Baptist Church in Little Rock.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Lea Lindsey-Nutt; his sons, Chris Nutt and David Nutt; two grandsons, J. Cody Nutt and Tanner Nutt; his parents, Walter Juluis Nutt and Maggie Florence Lingo-Nutt; nine brothers; and three sisters.

Hallie is survived by his niece, Adeline Nutt-Luzader; his granddaughter, Lindsey Lea Nutt-Huskey; his great grandchildren, Kaley Huskey, Kenley Huskey, Trenton Nutt, Savanna Nutt, and Jacie Nutt; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral services will be held at Geyer Springs Baptist Church in Little Rock. The burial services will be in Salem Cemetery near Bearden.

Memorials may be made to the Salem Cemetery Association or to the Geyer Springs Baptist Church.
