Madge Melanie (Yoder) Heyen was born on August 3, 1959, in Crete, Nebraska to Wallace and Nelda (Stutzman) Yoder and passed away on June 14, 2021, in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 11 days.

Madge grew up in the Milford area where she attended school and later attended Southeast Community College, obtaining a degree in computer programming. She married Timothy Heyen on January 17, 1976, at Bellwood Mennonite Church in Milford. The couple lived in Seward where she continued to work with her mom at Skelly's Cafe located off the Milford exit. The couple then moved to Tennessee where she was a homemaker, later moving to Kentucky where she was a member of Homemakers and Red Hat Society. Madge loved music, quilting, trips to the fabric shop, motorcycle and pontoon rides with Tim, road trips with friends, and playing cards with the girls on Fridays.

Madge was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Heyen; parents, Wallace and Nelda Yoder; in-laws, Robert and Delores Heyen; granddaughter, Norah; aunt, Elda Yoder; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Survivors include her children, Eric and Beth Heyen, Seward, Jaclyn Heyen, Beau Heyen, Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren, Liam, Dash and Ronan Heyen; brother, Shane and wife, Deb Yoder, Strasburg, CO, niece, Shelby Yoder; special friends, Terri Burchess, Wanda Starker, Sue Lammers, Connie Dodson, Sue Wesley and Cheryl Yoder; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
