Benje Evans

Clinton, SC - Bennie "Benje" Edwin Evans, 48, of 192 Cypress Street, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Hospice of Laurens County.
Born in Clinton, he was the husband of Dee Crocker Evans and the son of Charles Snider (Kathy) and Karen Evans Traynham (Michael). He was an avid Gamecock and Atlanta Braves Fan, coached softball, Benje was a loving wonderful son, grandson, friend, and father and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife, also surviving are a son, Tyson Evans of Clinton; one stepdaughter, Jada Leopard (Nelson) two grandchildren, Kara Lema Leopard; two half brothers; two half sisters and lifelong best friend, Josh Pierce. Mr. Evans was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Bennie and Kathleen Sinclair; and paternal grandparents, John and Florie Snider.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
