Cecile L. Chrissinger, 85, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Park Place Elderly Living in Mt. Pleasant. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cecile Lorene Lauber was born on March 13, 1936, in Wayland, Iowa the daughter of Peter Simon and Anna May (Conrad) Lauber. She was a graduate of Winfield High School and attended Iowa Wesleyan College in Mt. Pleasant. Cecile worked and retired from Motorola. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant, V.F.W. Auxiliary of Mt. Pleasant and a past member of the Women of the Moose. Cecile enjoyed traveling, reading, collecting thimbles and growing flowers.
Cecile will be deeply missed by her son, Mike (Wendy) Chrissinger of Mt. Pleasant and her grandchildren, Nicole (Tyler) Humble of Des Moines, Shawna (Anthony) Hefele of Des Moines and Ryen Chrissinger of Mt. Pleasant.
Cecile was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Harry Lauber and Edward Lauber.
