Civil War Union Army Soldier. He was mustered in as a Sergeant in Company D, 121st Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry on August 18, 1862. He was mortally wounded in the December 1862 Battle of Fredericksburg, Virginia, dying on January 27, 1863.
Erskine Hazard is the son of Erskine Hazard and Mary Fullerton Hazard.
Hazard-On the 27th inst., in consequence of a wound and exposure at Fredericksburg, Erskine Hazard, Jr., Color Sergeant, One-hundred-and twenty-first Regiment P.V., in the 36th year of his age.
His friends and those of the family are respectfully invited to attend his funeral. from his father's residence, No. 901 Clinton street, on Friday next, at 10 o'clock A.M., without further notice.
