Gerald E. Willhoite, 43, died Saturday at St. James Hospital, Pontiac, after a lengthy illness. He was born a son of H. C. and Sarah C. (Johnson) Willhoite. He married Jeanne Gall Jan. 23, 1960, at Odell. He had been employed at Interlake Steel Co., Pontiac, before becoming ill in 1971. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sandra Jean and Rebecca Louise, both at home; a son, Robert Thomas, at home; two brothers; and two sisters. His parents preceded him in death. Pallbearers were Gale Keeneth, Mike Finnegan, Bob Coulter and Bob Fraher, an of Odell, John Bohm of Pontiac and Gary Taylor of Dwight.
