Kevin "Cork" Henschel, 45, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, March 02, 2012, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Kevin was born March 11, 1966 in Sheboygan to Ron and Jackie (Foster) Henschel. He graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1984. On January 5, 1991, he married Tammy Sixel at Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove.
He was employed by Eugene Voigt Dairy and as a Material Handler at Miller Manufacturing in St. Nazianz.
Kevin was a member of St. John/St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleveland. He was also a member of the Cleveland Athletic Club and the Cleveland Snowhawks.
In addition to his wife Tammy, he is survived by his sons Justin (special Friend Brittney), Joshua, and Jacob, his parents Ron (Jackie) Henschel, his sister Laurie (Special friend Scott Smith) Sixel, his brothers; Brian (Wendy) Henschel, Steven Henschel, and Todd (Lori) Henschel. He is also survived by his in-laws Peter (Patsy) Sixel, his brothers-in-law Kevin (Michelle) Sixel and Scott (Ashley) Sixel, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He is further survived by his special friends Michael and Christine Gabsch and many other special friends. He was preceded in death by a son Brandon, and his grandparents Harvey (Norma) Henschel and Jack (Beatrice) Foster.
Funeral services for Kevin will take place Monday, March 5, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at St. John/St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleveland. The Reverend David Endorf, Pastor, will officiate. Friends may call on Monday, at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Howards Grove.
