A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Iota for Frederick W. LeJeune, 75, who died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 6:30 p.m.
Fr. Jude Thierry, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Words of comfort will be given by Rev. Rod LeJeune, First Baptist Church-Evangeline at 6:00 p.m. followed by the rosary at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Mr. LeJeune is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda Aycock LeJeune of Iota; one daughter, Lea Ann Durant and her husband Larry of Ada, OK; two sons, Frederick W. LeJeune, Jr. of Iota, Travis LeJeune of Baton Rouge; one granddaughter, Annabelle LeJeune of Baton Rouge; one grandson, Lucas LeJeune of Baton Rouge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clobulle and Mary Hebert LeJeune; two sisters, Margaret LeJeune and Gloria LaCombe.
