Joseph Victor Casha was born in Ensley AL January 24, 1928 and died peacefully at home June 21, 2021. Pre-deceased by his daughter Diane Jenkins. He is survived by the love of his life, Betty Baird and his children Suzi (Joe) Putnam, Amanda Casha, Mike (Cindy) Casha, Joey (Connie) Casha, Missy Casha, Cari (Ken) Williams, 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Joe attended Father Ryan High School and served in the Navy on the USS Little Rock. He worked at Western Electric until his retirement in 1984. After his retirement he worked part time at Brentwood and Woodlawn Funeral Homes. He made wonderful and precious friends throughout his life.

Dad was an amazing man. He was open minded, accepting, kind and had a great sense of humor. He and Betty and his children played cards and had dinner together most every Saturday night for the last 15 years. Dad made sure to call each of his children every night to tell us goodnight, sweet dreams and lock our doors. He loved a good cup of coffee, golf, traveling, reading and Gunsmoke because the good guy always won. He loved his life with Betty. We are sure they kept each other young.

He was a loving and joyous Father who has left a legacy of love. He will be missed.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from one o'clock until two o'clock in the afternoon at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Please take a moment to offer condolences online or share your favorite memory of Joe.
