Born in Rahway, Mr. Kinch lived in Carteret for 56 years. He worked in maintenance at Middlesex College for 13 years before retiring in 1990.
Mr. Kinch was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sewaren.
Preceded in death by his parents; by a sister, Elizabeth McKissic, in 1993; and by his sons, Raymond "Ray" Kinch, in 1978, and Chadwick Oliver "Chad" Kinch, in 1994; he was survived by his wife, Pauline Crews Kinch; his daughter, Ms. Arlene Kinch; his sister, Vivian (and her husband, Roland) Randolph; his grandson, Pvt. Chadwick O. Kinch; his granddaughter, Princess Pelena Kinch; and his three great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Friday, May 18, 2007 at First Baptist Church, 130 Sewaren Avenue, Sewaren, NJ. Entombment at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Route 1, Woodbridge, NJ.
Jones Funeral Home, 247 Elm Avenue, Rahway, NJ was entrusted with handling the arrangements on behalf of the family.
