Graveside services for Carroll Dwayne Chaffin will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Guiceland Cemetery with Rev. Steven Evers officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Carroll Dwayne Chaffin, age 70, went home to his Savior Thursday, June 24, 2021.

Mr. Chaffin was born March 25, 1951 in Anderson County to Brock & Faye Chaffin.

He grew up farming in Slocum. He was also a truck driver and a diesel mechanic.

His bright smile and witty jokes will never be forgotten just as his love and devotion to Christ and his family.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Ava; his two children Sherry & Randy; two grandchildren Ally Chaffin & Trenton Taylor; brother Joe Chaffin & wife Judy; sister-in-law Gail; brother & sister-in-law Russell & Alesia Cooke; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Brock & Faye Chaffin and brothers Frank & Ray.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M., Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home in Palestine.
