Donald Jentsch, 74, of Republic, MO, died June 6, 2021. Donald was born December 16,1946, in the township of Rantoul, WI, to Robert and Florence Jentsch at the family home on the farm. He attended school in that area, moving to Manitowoc, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1965. Donald was married on May 18, 1973, at First German Lutheran Church in Manitowoc, WI.

Donald was a veteran, serving in the Air Force, Army, and the National Guard. While in the service, he moved to Missouri. Donald received his B.S. Degree from Drury University and his Master's and Specialist degrees from Missouri State University in education, mathematics, business, and secondary principal certification for both public and parochial schools.

Donald and his wife fostered 16 children in Pulaski and Greene counties, he then became a caseworker for the state of Missouri for ten years and taught at Everton High School and Miller High School, retiring in 2007.

Donald was cremated and a memorial service was held Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Faith Lutheran Church, 1517 E. Valley Water Mill Rd., Springfield MO. Burialwas on Monday, June 28, 2021, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Road, in Springfield, MO, with full military honors.
