Ray H. Hudson, 52, New Whiteland, died Nov. 12, 2007, at his residence. Born Oct. 7, 1955, in Indiana, he was the son of Ruth Hudson of Indianapolis and the late Robert Hudson. He was employed as a forklift operator for David R. Webb in Edinburgh, where he had worked for the past eight years. He was previously employed by Mead-Westvaco in Beech Grove for ten years. He served in the U.S. Army during the 1970s. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Shirley Ruth (England) Hudson of New Whiteland; two step-daughters, Deborah Stephens and Galeda Wright, both of New Whiteland; and three grandchildren, Jacob and Katelyn Stephens and Jaylon Profitt. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday November 14 at Friendship Park Cemetery in Paragon. Neal and Summers Mortuary in Martinsville is in charge of arrangements.
