Paul M. Alley, 87, Antis Township, died Friday afternoon at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Irvin B. and Pearl A. (Caldwell) Alley. On Sept. 22, 1953, he married Patricia A. Anderson in Winchester, Va., and she preceded him in death on March 17, 2021.
Surviving are four sons: James R. (Margaret) of Blandburg, Johnny R. (Linda) of Tipton, Jerry R. of Antis Township and Jeff R. (Lorrie) of Tyrone; five daughters: Jaynee R. Calon of Tyrone, Jody R. (Hoojoon) Cheung in California, Jamie R. (David) Ross of Tyrone, Jackie R. (John) Younkin of Flinton and Jenifer R. (Brian) Zimmer in Maryland; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Erma P. Wilson, in Ohio; and two sisters-in-law: Peggy Bowser and Sandy Clossin, both of Altoona. He was preceded in death by five siblings: Ralph H., Irvin B. Jr., Michael H., Gloria A. Byrd, and Norma L. Knight.
Paul was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was owner of Alley Transmission Repair, Antis Township. He enjoyed going to car auctions and watching television. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of his family. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood. Arrangements are by Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc., Bellwood
