Eric E. Glosser, 57, of McConnelsville, passed away on Sun. June 27, 2021 at the St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville. He was born on April 13, 1964 in Zanesville to the late Elmer and Mary Cornell Glosser.

He was a retired police office for the city of Newark. He was a member of the Ohio Police and Fire (OPF), the fraternal Order of Police and a founding member of the United Paranormal Project.

He is survived by his wife, Carla Christy Glosser of the home, 2 sons, Travis (Mindy) Glosser of Newark and Trevor Glosser of Jacksonville, NC, a sister, Vickie (Donie) Miller of Gillette WY and 3 grandchildren, Troy, Emma and Leah.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Newton.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 10-11:30 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConneslville followed by a graveside service at 1:00 P.M. at the Zanesville Memorial Gardens in Zanesville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Eric's name.
