AN AFFLICTED FAMILY

Death of Miss Charlotte L McCloud
Near Esparto

On Thursday, March 14th, Charlotte L. McCloud passed away after an illness extending over a period of six months. The McCloud family seems to be sadly afflicted. The latest death makes three that have occurred in less than a year, two daughters and one son. The survivors of the family are the parents Mr and Mrs A L, six sons and three daughters. The family has resided near Esparto for twenty-seven years and is held in high regard in the community.

The deceased was born where the family now resides 21 years, 5 months and 28 days ago. She was an estimable young lady and her premature death is profoundly regretted by all who knew her, and has cast a gloom over the entire community.

Funeral services will be held in be in the church at Esparto 2 p. m. Saturday, March 16th, and interment will be in the cemetery at Capay. Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend.
