CHARLES ALBERT BRAZIER, a resident of the Williston Community and office employee of St. Francis Hospital in Memphis before his illness, died at 7 P.M. Thursday, November 8, 2007 at his brother's home on Ebenezer Loop. He was 60 years of age and died following an extended illness.

Funeral services for Mr. Brazier were conducted at 3 P.M. Saturday, November 10th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel on Hwy. 64 near Oakland with Rev. Carl Meyer, Pastor of the Oakland First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home—West Chapel.

Mr. Brazier was born in Sheffield, AL, January 5, 1947, the son of the late Albert Brazier and the late Willie Mae Crews Brazier. He moved at an early age to the Memphis area and was a graduate of the Kingsbury High School in Memphis. He was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Memphis and had been a resident of Shelby and Fayette Counties throughout most of his adult life. He was an avid reader who enjoyed studying the Bible. A people person, Mr. Brazier will be remembered as one who never met a stranger and he enjoyed pets.

He is survived by his brother, Jerry Brazier (Ruthie) of Williston and nephew Michael Brazier (Kelli) of Collierville.

Casketbearers were family members and friends.
