Antonio Rodriguez Alfaro, 89, passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside on June 28, 2021. He was born October 25, 1931, in Bluetown, Texas to proud parents Antonio and Julia (Pena) Alfaro who precede him in death, along with siblings, Maria, Julia, Joe, Pete and Encarnacion. Antonio retired with 30 years of service from the United States Airforce as a heavy equipment operator. He also retired with 17 years of service from the City of Pueblo Parks and Rec Department. Antonio enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Broncos and Rockies, but above all spending time with his children and friends. Visiting with the neighbors and helping his community in any way he could. Antonio is survived by his children, Tony (Paulette) Alfaro Jr., Julie (Gene) Arellano, Juanita (Carlos) Arguello, George (Debbie) Alfaro, Albert (Peggy) Alfaro, Jess (Della) Alfaro, Leonard Alfaro; mother of his children, Lupe Hinojos; 2 sisters, Lydia Gallegos and Eufemia Diaz; a brother, Alberto Alfaro; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; four-legged companion, Pepe; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends who loved and will miss him dearly.

Rosary 9:30 am Tuesday July 6, 2021 with Funeral Mass at 10 a.m both at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.
