Russian Czar, the son of Vasily I and Sophia of Lithuania he became Czar in 1425 he was known as Vasily II the Blind he reigned for 37 years during his long reign Russia was going through the greatest civil war of old Russian history the Great Feudal War. He was once captured and blinded by his enemies almost loosing the throne but managing to reclaim the throne. His son Ivan lll became his co-ruler in his later years until his death due to his disability.
