Andrew A. Torok
Age 89, a lifelong resident of Northville, passed away on February 27, 2016. He was born September 22, 1926 in Putnam Township, Michigan; son of Andrew and Theresa (nee Bokrus) Torok. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. On June 12, 1949 he married the love of his life Gennell Rood; they were married for 54 years until her death in 2003.

Andrew was an inspector with Ford Valve Plant in Northville for over 45 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory for many years. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. He liked doing yardwork and taking care of his home with his handyman skills. Andrew had a heart of gold; he would do anything for anyone. He was a very loving and caring father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his daughter Gayle Torok.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 3pm until 7pm with a funeral service beginning at 7pm at Casterline Funeral Home, 122 West Dunlap, Northville. Following the funeral service military honors will be rendered. A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 1pm at Pinckney Cemetery (West Main Street, East of Pinckney Elementary School) in Pinckney, Michigan.
