Olga Coates died Sunday, May 27, 2001 at Star Valley Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at the Etna Ward Chapel, Friday, June 1, at 11 a.m. viewing one hour prior to service.
Olga was born Feb 23, 1916 to Ernest and Regina Wolfley in Bedford. She was the third child of nine. She married Lloyd Henry Coates on Dec 3, 1936 at Paris ID.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. she fulfilled various callings in Primary, Sunday School and Relief Society as long as her health permitted.
Along with raising her family, she held a variety of jobs such as cooking for Etna School and the senior citizen center. she also worked many years for Star Valley Creamery.
Olga enjoyed the outdoors, raising flowers and vegetable gardens. In her later years, she made many quilts and afghans for all of her grandchildren. Her family thought she was a great cook and enjoyed many wonderful meals throughout the years.
Survivors include four sons, Val Gene and Ernold of Afton, DeRell and Sam of Etna, two daughters, Arlinda of Riverton and Kaylene of Etna, 26 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd, her son DeLoyd and her daughter Fayone.
