She married Marvin Albrecht and together they operated a flower shop in Wharton for many years. She enjoyed crochet, gardening, was an amazing cook, and an avid Astros and Rockets fan. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Wharton for many years. Iris was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi, and United Methodist Women.
Iris is survived by her husband, Marvin Albrecht, daughters, Lisa Burger and husband, Henry and Kristin Huff and son, Troy Albrecht and wife, Christa, grandchildren, Taylor Albrecht, Tanner Albrecht, Haley Burger and Cape Huff.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 10 am at the Chapel of Wharton Funeral Home. Burial followed in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton.
Services are under the direction of Wharton Funeral Home.
