Lloyd Evans Dies Feb. 5
Funeral services were held February 8, at 2:00 pm at the Goodrich funeral Home, Osceola, for Lloyd A. Evans, 60 of Osceola who died February 5, 1970 at the Sac-Osage Hospital.
Rev. Robert Sandfort officiated at the services and the Rev. and Mrs. Sandfort provided the music.
Pallbearers were nephews and burial was made in the Osceola Cemetery.
Lloyd A. Evans was born in Polk County and moved to Osceola in 1951. He was a self-employed farmer most of his life and was recently employed by the Hunt Limestone, Co.
Preceding him in death were his parents, James B. Evans and Maude M. Evans, and an infant sister.
Survivors are his wife, Mr.s Dena Evans of the home, 13 children, eight daughters and five sons. They are Mrs. Sylvia Greathouse, Osceola; Mrs. Delores Greathouse, Mrs. Vera Greathouse and Mrs. Phyllis Cutler, Kansas City.
Mrs. Sharon Smith, Misis Janice Evans and Gary Evans, Independence.
Mrs. Pamely Dutcher, Monegaw Springs, Sandra and Terry Evans of the home; Larry Evans, U.S. Marines; Jerry Evans, U.S. Navy; and Travis Evans, U.S. Army stationed in Vietnam; 22 grandchildren, three brothers, and four sisters.
