Floyd Evans, 64, Warrensburg, a former long time resident of Bolivar and Cliquot, died at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday in St. John's Hospital in Springfield afer a long illness.
He had been a resident of Warrensburg for the past 10 years and had worked at Centeral Missouri State University as a custodian. He was a native of Polk County.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian; a daughter, Mrs. Donald Smith, 11 35 Darby Place, Springfield; two sons, Frank of Blue Springs and Floyd, Jr. of Elkland; four sisters, Mrs. Albert McBride, Osceola; Mrs. Lee Hazlett, Nevada; Mrs. Wayne Paxson, Strafford and Mrs. Leonard Parks of the state of Iowa; two brothers, Eugene of Montreal and Wayne of Olathe, Kansas and seven grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Butler Chapel, Bolivar, with Rev. Lloyd E Morgan officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery, north of Bolivar.
