She was born Feb. 19, 1916, the daughter of Frank J. Bays and Irene Frances Casey Bays.
She enjoyed crocheting and quilting. She spent many hours reading and acquired an abundance of knowledge. "Nany" enjoyed fishing at the lake, playing cards, winning at Rummikub and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 43 years, Floyd Chester Evans; her son, Frank Evans; and her brother, Frank Bays; and her husband of 20 years, James Dake.
Lillian is survived by her children, Donna Carol Smith and husband Donald and Floyd Chester Evans Jr. and wife Peggy; her daughter-in-law, Evelyn Evans; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a stepson, Terry Dake, and stepdaughter Marvis Lary; and many friends.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, in Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Bolivar with the Rev. Doug Earls and the Rev. Dean Trivitt officiating.
Burial will be at a later date in Salem Cemetery at Cliquot next to her late husband, Floyd Chester Evans.
