Doris was daughter of Walter Preston Trent and Esther Pearl Dressler, who was widow of Harvey franklin Kidd. Esther brought to the marriage three of her 5 Kidd children, two died as infants. Doris was Walter and Esther's only daughter. In 1957, Doris married Thomas Redford Catchpole. She became a teacher as was her husband. She died in an auto wreck in New Mexico. Her young son Thomas and husband only injured in the wreck. The photo of Thomas Catchpole is with his second wife.
