Rebecca died in 1863 near Pulaski, Iowa County, Wisconsin where they farmed a 40 acre plot. Orrin stayed at that place with his children until 1872 when they moved to Wyoming, Iowa County, Wisconsin. In 1875, Orrin moved to Bloomington, Nebraska with his 4 youngest children where he farmed until his death in 1877. Orrin is buried in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Bloomington, NE near one son and grandchildren.
