Robert Daniel Angles, Jr., 53, of 673 Pearl St., Bluefield, died Friday night September 10, 1982, in a Bluefield hospital after a long illness.
Born November 13, 1928 in Tazewell County, Va., he was a son of Mrs. Alice L. Burkett Angles of Springville, Va. and the late Robert D. Angles, Sr.
He had served with the U. S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Barnes-Beaver V.F. W. Post in Tazewell, Va.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his second wife, Bonnye James Angles; first wife, Betty Lou Aker Coon; one son Robert Danny Angles of Springville; two daughters, Toni Angles and Danni Angles, both of the home; two step-daughters, Mrs. Randye Granderson of Gaiinesville, Fl. and Mrs. Carolyn Tucker of Houston, Tx.; five sisters, Mrs. Louise Bailey, Mrs. Eunice Doss, Mrs. Jean Earls, and Mrs. Cathleen Shrader, all of Springville, and Mrs. Anna Mae Fuller of Bluefield, Va.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, Va., with Rev. John Bush and Jack Tolbert officiating.
Burial will follow in Grandview Memory Gardens on the Bluefield-Tazewell Road.
Pallbearers will be Gordon Lane, Dennis Weatherholt, Billy Earls, Tim Doss, Frank Bailey, Jr., and Glenn Yost.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 5 to 9 p.m.
