Lena Elizabeth Cravens, 78, widow of Harold W. Cravens, Lexington, died Sunday, May 10, 1998 at Mayfair Manor in Lexington. A native of Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Steven Douglas and Elizabeth Gibson Watts. She was a retired payroll clerk for the Federal Narcotic Farm and a substitute teacher. She was a graduate of Transylvania University, a member of Central Baptist Church, Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile and Bluegrass Women's Club of which she had served as president. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Henrietta Watts. Funeral services were Wednesday, May 13, at the W. R. Milward Mortuary-Southland with Dr. Gerard Howell officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
