Pembroke- Mr. Dallas G. Yawn, age 78, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at East Georgia Regional Hospital. Mr. Yawn was born Sept. 3, 1942 in Telfair County to the late Thomas Daniel Yawn and Miriam Hurst Yawn. Mr. Yawn was a long-time resident of Bryan County, retired as a roofer and was a member of the Georgia National Guard. He dearly loved his family and loved time with his grandchildren and enjoyed sports. In addition to his parents, Mr. Yawn was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Dorothy Luann "Lucy" Yawn, his son, Dallas Keith Yawn and sister, Lola Jackson.

Survivor include two daughter and sons-in-law, Joyce and Greg Shinall of Ellabell and Tracey and Michael Tuten of Pembroke; five brothers, Clifton Yawn of Rincon, Guy Yawn of Atlanta, Jimmy Yawn of Richmond Hill, Steve Yawn of Allendale and Teddy Yawn of McRae; two sisters, Kathy Gallo of Austin and Wanda Z. Yawn of McRae and four grandchildren and their spouses, Dayna and Travis Minis, Daron and Jordan Tuten, Candace and Chris Calloway and Zach and Chelsea Shinall; and great grandchildren, Randi Linton, Skylar Linton, Aubrey Linton, Kindall Linton, Jordan Calloway, Braydan Calloway, Adrian Calloway, Miley Tuten, Hailey Willow, Cadance Tuten, Tessa Tuten, Brianna Pittman, Hailey Hanner, Kiley Edwards, Archer Shinall and Mia Shinall.

Visitation will be held 6-9 P.M. Monday, July 12, 2021 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held 12 P.M. Tuesday, July 13, 2021 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home with interment to follow in Northside Cemetery.
