Dolores married Allan Avery, March 13, 1954 and they shared 67 years of marriage. She was a loving wife and proud mother and grandmother, devoting her entire life to the care of her family. She had a kind and generous nature, always put others before herself.
Do-Do loved her coffee and donuts. She always had a 5 course meal on the table for her family every night. Dolores was a talented cook and baker, famous for her "Mexican Spaghetti" and steak with fried noodles. She looked forward to her shopping trips and dinners at Bud Williams. She was a strong woman and a survivor of cancer. Her memory will live on through those she leaves behind.
Dolores is survived by her husband, Allan; 4 children: Charles Avery, Steven Avery Sr., Barbara (Scott) Tadych and Earl Avery; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother Lloyd (Rose) Scherer.
Private services will be held by her immediate family at a later date.
