Bill "BG" Higgins, 83, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at home. He was born on February 26, 1938, the son of David L. and Mollie (Allen) Higgins.

Bill graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1957. He honorably served in the United States Air National Guard. He worked at Clark Equipment, and then was a car dealer in Battle Creek for 42 years. Bill was strong in his faith and knew the Lord well.

Bill is survived by his Son, Michael L. Higgins; Daughter, Tamara S. (Alex) Corbin; Grandchildren, Nathan, Ashtan, Michelle, Katelynn, Autumn, Akayla, Thomas; Great-Grandchildren, Ethan, Mason Emerson, Natalie, Chase; Two Brothers, David (Roberta) Higgins Jr., Edsol Higgins and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Siblings, Luther Higgins, Dorsie Higgins, Ervine Higgins, Elma Ruth Coldren, J.D. Higgins.

Bill enjoyed antique cars, old tractors and watching Westerns. He was a simple man that enjoyed the little things in life. He will truly be missed by his family, friends and all those that had ever met him.

Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 starting at 11:00 am with Todd Jenner officiating.

Interment will take place at the Cooks Prairie Cemetery in Clarendon Township.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, 7100 Stadium Drive, Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
