Carolyn Ann Sutherlin, 76, of Duncanville passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. She was born February 25, 1945 in Taylor, Texas to Claud and Juanita (McAlester) Almand. Carolyn spent a good part of her life as a homemaker. She was a graduate with the class of 1963 in Waxahachie. Carolyn and her husband James were married for 45 years. They were also members of the Faith Baptist Church in Duncanville for over 15 years. She is survived by her daughter, Paula Sutherlin; son, Brad Sutherlin and wife Andrea; grandson, Chad Tate; nephews, Kyle Almand and wife Cathy and William Sutherlin and wife Lisa as well as a host of cousins and friends. She is also survived by some of the smaller loves in life her three precious dogs – Buddy, Sarah, and Penny. She is preceded in death by her husband, James; her parents; daughter, Sandra Capps; brother, Dennis Almand.
