Mrs. Anderson graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1952. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing all her kids clothing while they grew up, as well as knitting, crocheting and crafts.
She was born Oct. 2, 1934, in Lafayette to Bill and Ruth Boyer West. She married John Anderson in 1956, and he survives.
Also surviving are one son, John Jr. (companion Pam Ostler) of Edna Mills; two daughters, Jill Ann West (Donnie Jr.) Thompson of Rossville and Teresa E. (Tom) Pearson of Cutler; three brothers, Jake West of Romney, Donald West of Oxford and Doug West of Florida; and four grandchildren, Brooke Thompson of California, Michael and Ashley Anderson of Lafayette and Katie Pearson of Cutler.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
