Ted Adair, 89, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021 in Graham. Family Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Gooseneck Cemetery in Young County.
Ted was born August 24, 1931 in Byers, Texas to the late Verna (Owens) Adair and John F. Adair. Ted served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a Cowboy working on the J.A. Ranch in the Texas Panhandle and the Waggoner Ranch in the 1950's. Ted married Ruth Ellen Needham in 1963 in Throckmorton. She preceded him in death September 3, 2006. Ted retired as a Livestock Inspector for the Texas Animal Health Commission.
Survivors include; sons, Kelley Adair and wife Kara of Graham, Mark Adair and wife Tareasa of Fort Smith, AR.; grandchildren, Katie, Kristen, Kamryn, and Kyle Adair, Tiffany Charles and Lyndsey Miller; six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; brother, Kenneth Wayne Adair of Durant, OK.; several nieces and nephews also survive.
