David Lee Stinnett Sr. of Blacksburg, SC, passed away on November 25, 2020 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice House.
David was born September 16, 1957 to the late Jack James and Reba Guy Stinnett. In his life he drove 18 wheelers for many years where he got the nickname Rebel. When he decided he needed to be home more with his kids. He became a heavy equipment operator where he finished out all his work until he retired. David loved to work with his hands and to build things that would make life easier for people. He was always getting people to laugh at all of his jokes. David loved to visit the mountains and the beach. His most loved thing in his life was his wife and children. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkid as much as he could. To him in the last few years that was what brought the most joy to his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jack James and Reba Guy Stinnett and Sister Judy Stinnett Bollinger and his late wife Terri Kelly Stinnett
Survived by his wife Fredda Crawford Stinnett; 2 daughters Leslie and Wayne Simpson of Gastonia, NC; April and Billy Pickleseimer of Lincolnton, NC; 3 sons David and Tonya Sinnett Jr of Vale, NC; Elijah Sanders of Vale, NC; Michael Sanders of Gastonia, NC. 4 stepsons Christopher and Laura Sanders of Gastonia, NC; Brandon and Treresa Sanders of Clover,
SC; James and Amber Lingerfelt of York, SC; and Josua and Stephanie Lingerfelt Sharon, SC; and 2 step daughters Alisha Sanders of Bessemer City, NC; and Susan Lingerfeldt of Fort Mill SC. 1 sister Polly and Bobby Ammons of Bessemer City NC. 21 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The family will be holding a Celebration Of Life Service at a later time
