Chrispina Schmidt was the daughter of Fruedpert Schmidt and Helen Ruh. She immigrated to America in 1867. On July 29, 1872, she married Gregor (George) Franck (Frank), the son of Anton Franck and Regina Hermann, in Manhattan, New York. They were blessed with 6 children, those known are Ida, Adolph, Theresia (Teresa), Freida, and Josephine Frank. She died on Sept. 25, 1914.

She is survived by the following children; Mrs. Ida M. Graeb of Los Gatos; Adolph E. Frank, Mrs. Teresa J. Curran and Mrs. Josephine A. Morrill. The funeral took place Monday , Interment in Oak Hill Cemetery.
