A memorial mass for Lieut. (jg) Thomas Montgomery Vaughn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Vaughn, will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock, at St. John's Catholic church. Rev. Maurice Furstenberg, a former parish priest here, will officiate at mass, and Rev. John J. Higgins of St. John's will give the sermon. Lieutenant Vaughn lost his life recently in the south Pacific. He was born and reared in this community and attended St. John's school, from which he was graduated.
