Private Burial Service This Morning - Neither of the Other Children Ill
A private burial service was held today for Francis Elmo, one year and nineteen days' old son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos C. Walters, prominent residents of Union Township. The babe's death occurred yesterday afternoon at three o'clock from diptheria. He had been ill only about three days.
Two older children of the family survive. They have not contracted the disease and every precaution is being taken to prevent its spread.
The father of the babe is a nephew of Elijah Walters, of First Street, this city.
