José Raúl Alemán passed away peacefully on the morning of July 7th, 2021. Also affectionately known as "Petit" and "Ito", his love was limitless and he served as the greatest example of what it means to be a father and grandfather. He will always be remembered for his devotion to family, determined spirit, and his warm embrace for all those who met him.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of more than 60 years, Orestila, and is survived by his three children, Maritza Luna, Raúl Alemán, and Ricardo Alemán; and his five grandchildren, Daniel Luna, Cristina Luna-García, Melissa Luna, Cecilia Alemán, and Marco Alemán.
A funeral mass will be held at Nativity Catholic Church in Burke, VA at 10 a.m. on July 15 followed by an interment at Fairfax Memorial Park Cemetery.
