Curtis "Curt" Keith Hofemann was born October 12 1947 at Redfield SD to Ernest and Geneva Hofemann. He graduated from Franklin high school in Stockton CA in 1965. In his 2nd year at Delta College he received his draft notice but instead insisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. He served a tour and a half in Vietnam where he attained the rank of sergeant. He moved to the S.F Bay Area and married Ruth Frances (Tucker) Agate. They had a son Jozef Hofemann who married Angela Peguero and they had two boys Nicolai and Drake Hofemann. Curt enjoyed his family, reading about science, camping, fishing, gardening, the SF giants and forty Niners and genealogy. He is survived by six step- sons, 15 step-grandchildren, and 11 step-great grandchildren. The family is having a memorial on Saturday August 18 please contact family for more information.
