February 11, 1946 - July 02, 2021
Judith Ann Lowney (Bugni) died Friday July 2, 2021 at St. Peter's Hospital in Helena, Montana.
Judy was born to Adolph and Isobel Bugni (Carmody) on February 11, 1946 in Butte, Mt.
She is survived by her brothers Tom and his wife Toni (niece/nephew Michelle and Chris) of Butte; Bob and his wife Debbie (nephew/niece Steve and Ann) of East Helena. Her children are Ron (daughter Lauren) of Butte; Tammy and her husband Mike (children Abbey and Tristan) of Spokane, Washington.
Judy, in her youth, enjoyed ballet and competitive swimming. While in high school, she met and later married her high school sweetheart, Ronald Joseph Lowney – on June 25, 1966 at Saint Ann's Catholic Church. They were married for 53 years, until Ron's death in 2019. Judy in her earlier years, worked as a legal secretary, hot lunch aid and then spent the majority of her years as a loving full-time mother and wife.
Although Judy's MS disease diminished her quality of life, she never complained and continued to be strong, positive and kind.
Judy, even in her final hours, expressed her desire – to be with her husband Ron. She was a loyal wife, great mother, beloved daughter and sister and loved her family dearly.
Her funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 16th at noon at Saint Ann's Catholic Church.
Following will be the burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Butte, MT.
A life celebration party at the Montana Room of the Comfort Inn (2777 Harrison Avenue) from 2-5 PM.
Her family requests any memorials either be sent to the Butte Central Education Fund (where she was educated) or the Montana Tech Booster Club (where her Father, Husband, and Son attended).
