Private funeral services will be held for Rancho Mirage resident Robert Alan Gliddon, 40, who died Friday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Mr. Gliddon was a native of Mobile, Ala., and had been a resident of California for 11 years, living in Rancho Mirage for four years. He was a school teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District. Mr. Gliddon is survived by his parents, Myrtice and Lee Gliddon of Rancho Mirage; one brother, Lee S. Gliddon Jr. of San Jose, and by three sisters, Helen Gliddon of San Jose, Evelyn Hodge of Cathedral City and Patricia Jackson of Birmingham. Ala. Interment will be private. Wiefels and Son mortuary in Palm Springs is in charge of arrangements. Mother's Maiden Name: Wallace
