Born January 21, 1931 in Long Island, New York, Daughter of Agnes Bartholomew Ingram Stain and Ray Washington Stain.

Survived by her daughter, Karin Elizabeth Lindemann of Opelika, Alabama; her son, Ray Charles Lindemann and his wife, Vera C. Lindemann; granddaughters: Anastasia Marie, Arianna Rhae and Anthea Sarah of Cleveland, Ohio; Her sister, Elizabeth-Lee Gass; and three nieces, grand-nieces and numerous cousins in Lee, Russel, and Macon Counties.

Sarahelen graduated from the University of Montevallo in 1952 with a BA in Education. She taught two years in Sylacauga, Alabama, two years. In Rockland Lake, New York, and five years in Cleveland, Ohio.

Sarahelen was a member of the Eastern Star Oglethorpe Chapter 122 of Sandy Springs, Georgia. She also was a member of the Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church, Atlanta, Georgia. Sarahelen also frequented the Marvyn United Methodist Church.

Sarahelen passed peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones July 13, 2021.

Visitation will be held at the Marvyn United Methodist Church Friday July 16, 2021 at 1:00PM with a service following at 2:00PM followed by graveside at Ingram Family Cemetery: 15106 SR-51, Opelika, AL 36804

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Lee County Humane Society or Compassus Hospice of Opelika, Alabama would be appreciated.
