Hulda A. Scmidt, 95, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2011.
Born in Akron on March 17, 1916 to the late John E. and Jennie E. Carlson, on Aug. 31, 1940, she married Clarence Schmidt. He preceded her in death in 1972.
Hulda enjoyed knitting over 1,000 booties and caps for the Pre-Natal at Akron Children's Hospital.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gerry Buxton; and brothers, John and Melvin Carlson. She leaves two sons and their wives; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Pearl Morrison in Akron, and Esther Woods in Green.
Funeral services on Thursday, March 31 at 11 a.m. in Adams Mason Funeral Home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
